SFS Institute of Skills Development: Terms & Conditions for Online Educational Programs & Workshops

Welcome! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of online educational programs and workshops (“Programs”) offered by SFS Institute of Skills Development (“SFS”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in any Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in any Program.
  • You must have a valid email address and internet access to participate in online programs.

2. Enrollment & Payment:

  • Enrollment in a Program is confirmed upon successful completion of the online registration process and payment.
  • Payment for Programs must be made in full using the available payment methods listed on the SFS website.
  • Fees for each Program are clearly displayed and may vary depending on the specific program chosen.
  • All fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of SFS.

3. Program Access & Delivery:

  • Upon enrollment confirmation, you will receive access instructions for the chosen Program through your registered email address.
  • Programs are delivered through SFS’s online learning platform, which may require specific software or browser compatibility.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary technical requirements to participate in the Program.
  • SFS reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue access to the online learning platform at any time, with reasonable notice.

4. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property:

  • All content (including video lectures, course materials, handouts, assignments) provided as part of the Programs is the intellectual property of SFS or its licensors.
  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Program content for your personal learning purposes only.
  • You may not share, distribute, copy, modify, or sell any Program content without prior written consent from SFS.

5. User Conduct:

  • You agree to use the online learning platform and Program content in a respectful and professional manner.
  • You are prohibited from any activity that disrupts the learning environment or hinders the progress of other participants.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, posting offensive content, engaging in plagiarism, or sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons.
  • SFS reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Program for violating these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties:

  • SFS provides Programs and their content “as is” and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.
  • SFS does not warrant that the Programs will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor does it guarantee any specific learning outcomes.

7. Limitation of Liability:

  • SFS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Programs, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

8. Termination:

  • SFS reserves the right to terminate your access to the Program at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.
  • You may also terminate your enrollment at any time.
  • However, no refunds will be issued unless explicitly stated in the Program’s specific terms.

9. Changes to Terms & Conditions:

  • SFS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time and will post the revised Terms on the SFS website.
  • You are responsible for periodically reviewing the Terms to be aware of any changes.
  • Your continued use of the Programs after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution:

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

11. Entire Agreement:

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SFS regarding your use of the Programs and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and agreements, whether oral or written.
